  26. To all scientists to be.

Using advanced scientific methods a ‘Science Cake’ has been finally
    created.
After years of painstakeing research, computer modelling and constant
failures/ set backs. The Science Cake idea has finally been baked.
I am sure many of you have been following the science cake dream since the
    original idea, back in 1995.
When the cakes were first created, they had up to 70% science contianied
within them, however as you know, the rest of the contents was Myth (30%).
This was simply unacceptable, because even a small amount of Myth, could
leave the consumer confused about various scientific ideas.
At last we have been able to mix the scientific ingredients in the correct
quantities, to produce a ‘Full Science Cake’. It tastes fabulous.
As we know it is impossible to remove the dreaded taste of Myth from the
cake completely, but we have been able to whittle it down to just 1 part
per trillion. I think you will agree, we can negate the effect of Myth in
    these cakes.

Here are a few of most commonly asked questions.

How will the cakes be used?

The cakes will be distributed amongst various academic communities, to
prove that science is the one for you and me. They are being sold for
£1.00 each in most science subjects, as the scholars are already drenched
with scientific knowledge. Please note this excludes social sciences, and
    Physical Education).
In all other subjects, commonly grouped as ‘The Arts’, the cakes will go on
sale for just 50p. This is so these stragglers of the scientific truth,
will be more tempted with the reduced price.

Can I purchase more than one cake?

In the initial launch of the science cakes, we are providing an offer where
you can buy 5 cakes for £4.00 (scientific users) and 5 for £2.00 (non
scientists), however, It is recommended by doctors that only one cake per
day is consumed. If you eat more than one per day, seek immediate medical
advice, and drink plenty of Sainsbury’s economy gin.

    What will the cakes do?

The science cakes are intended to make the eater, more scientifically
minded, by stimulating the spleen, and hair follicles on the face. Thus,
after eating just one cake, the beginnings of a beard should start to be
noted. As you know a beard is the hallmark of scientific intelligence, and
will stand you in good stead when, delivering seminars on a whole host of
    scientific subjects.
The spleen should distend, allowing ample room for many of the scientific
ideas, and the transposition of formula etc.

Can I eat the cakes if I am on a diet?

Yes, all of cakes are low in saturated fat. In fact most of the cakes only
    contain around 30% fat.

Are their any side effects from eating the science cakes.

All of the cake mix, has been tested on animals to make the science cake
eater completely at ease. Only a few side effects have been seen so far,
and luckily these are rare. They are as follows:

    Black and tarry stools,
    Foaming at the mouth.
Discolouring of the skin from white to navy blue.
    Varicose veins.
    Gangrene (Usually in the legs).

If you develop any of these symptoms then stop eating the cakes and seek
medical advice. Apart from the Gangrene, you may carry on eating the cakes
as long you get a surgeon to amputate the infected limb(s).

    Kind regards,

    Professor Williams.

    p.s. Happy Birthday
