Mhm… Still 28, then…

Posted by Anna as the evening progresses on May 16, 2005

Yeah, alright, sorry, got rather carried away with the idea of Not doing a project any more, not having to write things, because I hadn’t promised to, and consequently did fuck all, and did it drunkenly (and greatly enjoyed it too).

So, later, a round up of thank you letters, but in the meantime:

These last few days, whenever on the internet, I have been mainly gaping in amazement at Sugar Bush Squirrel, rodent sweetheart of the US forces.

It really is worth looking at every single page, including the ones on Sugar Bush Squirrel’s mom - ex country singer Kelly - and Sugar Bush Squirrel’s opinons on subsidised health care.

But, of course, the main attraction has to be the picture galleries. Personally the Military Mascot pages are a particular favourite, as is the crazy war of mixed messages that can be found on the penultimate row of this page.

Bad taste or loving tribute?
Is there a line?
Where is the line?
Is this over that line, if there is a line?
Even by a little twitchy nose over the line, perhaps?

  1. I used to believe in the line, but after seeing that web site I’m having doubts about the existence of the line.

    Line is dead.

  2. Er…

    Ah… um…

Yes. It is a squirrel. A right-wing patriotic squirrel. With clothes. Yes.

  4. Oh dear god, just looked at its ‘mother’. My god have mercy on the poor squirrel’s soul…it looks as if the gravitional pull of her hair is about to see the poor thing off to squirrel heaven…

This is a little red boat. Little, red, and boaty.
